When is the Verde Valley Fair?

The Verde Valley Fair usually kicks of the summer each year at the beginning of May. The next fair will be May 2-6, 2018.

Where is the Verde Valley Fair?

The Verde Valley fair is held at the Verde Valley Fairgrounds in Cottonwood, just 20 minutes from Sedona.

From Sedona, drive south on Hwy 89a for about 16 miles. Take a left onto Cottonwood St/AZ89-ALT. Turn right onto S 6th St. Take first right onto Cherry St, fairgrounds will be on the left.

How much does the Verde Valley Fair Cost?

Prices include shows for the day and the rodeo and range from $5-$10/person depending on the day. Subject to change so check the fair website before you go just to be sure.

    Purchase an unlimited ride pass and enjoy all the classic carnival rides you want

    Participate in as many of the fair competitions as your heart desires for a chance to win titles and prizes. The list of contests has included goat bingo, hula-hooping, sponge relay, hay bucking, clothespin relay, imaginative hat contest, and even a text messaging contest.
  • Rodeo
    Enjoy two nights of classic Southwestern Rodeo shows, with entertaining midway acts, and a chance to participate.
  • Food
    Bring your appetite and enjoy all the classic fair cuisine such as turkey legs, corn dogs and cotton candy. And for those who are bold enough to experiment, there will be interesting concoctions such as candy-covered ants and chocolate dipped scorpions.
  • Music
    Different local bands and musicians will be sharing their talent each day of fair.
