Sedona is best known for its surreal landscape. Filled with dreamlike rock formations, monoliths, cliffs, and canyons, it is an adventurer’s paradise. Most of the mountains in Sedona are large clusters of red sandstone. Each formation has distinct characteristics which provide unique names like Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, Capitol Butte, Coffee Pot Rock, and Snoopy Rock.
