What can I do and see at Jerome State Historic Park?

The historic museum is housed in the Douglas Mansion, built in 1916 out of adobe bricks that were made on site. The museum exhibits historic photographs, artifacts, and antique mining equipment from Jerome’s mining days. There is also a fascinating 3D model of the town of Jerome, complete with underground mining tunnels.

Where is Jerome State Historic Park?

From Sedona, drive south on Hwy 89a for about 17 miles. Follow the signs to stay on Hwy 89a for about 7 more miles. Take a slight right onto Douglas Rd, and another slight right onto Aka State Park Rd.
